Day 201-207: Clothes

I did another sweep of my closet and got rid of a few unflattering tanks, a denim miniskirt (see "I'm not 12 years old"), some yoga pants that had faded from black to charcoal gray, and a pair of Aeropostale short-shorts (did I mention I'm not 12?).

I was having a bad hair day when we did this pic. Also a bad face day.

DESTINATION: Goodwill.

Kara is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in Glamour, Marie Claire, Penthouse, J-14, Twist, Girls Life, HGTV.com, and on the front pages of Yahoo, MSN, AOL and more. She's also a portrait photographer and mom to two awesome boys. Her favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip.

George is a mechanical engineer who's developed everything from designer chairs to space shuttle parts. (I think that's right. Kara is writing this while George is asleep.) He loves home renovations, cars, and UFC. He is the father to the same two awesome boys. He sometimes dumps Tabasco in a can of garbanzo beans and calls it lunch.

1) If we throw something away on Thursday but don't get a chance to post until Friday, it counts.

2) If we get rid of a few things at once, we can post them one at a time over the next few days. It's our stuff and we want to give it a proper send-off. Besides, we can't tell craigslisters, "Can you come tomorrow instead? We're all blogged-out today."

3) Sometimes we'll throw a pile of crap out and count it as five days' worth. Sometimes we'll throw a pile of crap out and call it one day. Both are fine, because we make the rules.
